Assalamu'alaikum, my dear friends~

You are invited to join Jom! Ittihad, a community service-cum-iftar co-organised by SP Malay Language Society and Nur Ikhwan. =)

The event is gonna be held at Kg Chai Chee. This Sunday, from 11am to 9pm.

The main thing that's gonna happen is that we help tidy up and decorate several houses of the senior residents for the upcoming Hari Raya. After that, there will be a mass iftar with them.

Last year, Nur Ikhwan had Riang Ria Ramadhan. And, Rumah Terbuka NI in 2006 as well as Befriending The Folks in 2005. Despite the different names, our mission is still the same, to help out the elderly folks there and brighten their day. To just be there, with a smile on your face, chatting with the datuks and neneks.. you have no idea how these small gestures may touch their hearts..

Alhamdulillah, for this year, Nur Ikwan is more than happy to be collaborating with SPMLS. And if You want to lend a helping hand this Ramadhan and feel the ni'mah of being with your brothers and sisters in Islam on a fruitful Sunday (inshaAllah!), we welcome You to be part of this event.

Ultimately, it's the ukhwah built (and strengthened!) and the sense of satisfaction gained from helping someone that will make the event more meaningful... So, let's make that happen together, yea?

May you be in the best state of health and iman, Amin



We hope that you have spent your past 2 weeks of Ramadhan fully. We also hope that you will use the rest of the Ramadhan even more effectively. Let us increase our ibadah and amal soleh in this blessed month of Ramadhan solely to attain Allah's Pleasure. Let us purify ourselves and use this Ramadhan as a preparation to face the other months ahead, insha-Allah.



Ibadah is not just a form of prayers and seclusion in mosque. Anything you do for the sake of Allah s.w.t is an ibadah, Masha-Allah. What more can we ask. =D



Let us also show our ihsan to those who are less fortunate and the needy. Thus, Nur Ikhwan (NI) and Singapore Polytechnic Malay Language Society (SPMLS) would like to invite you to participate in our community service at Chai Chee Road.The event is called "Jom! Ittihad" (Lets Unite!) with the theme "Family Always Stick Together". We would also like to clarify that family here is not just limited to our parents and siblings, it encompasses our brothers and sisters in Islam as well.
