Aiyoh!!!!!! Ad got blog never tell me one! Then she blog about me in her latest post on my reaction while reading her blog. Geez!
So anyway, hiya again fellow frenz! It's been quite some time since I last blogged yea? Wellz, I won't say I was busy, but more of: I had better things to do with my time rather than blog.
So how am I doing? Maybe you're not interested to know but :P who cares, this is MY blog okay ;) Hmm... This week's the third week of school and I'm adapting pretty well back to school activities, you know lectures, tutorials, assignments, projects and whatever not. Maybe 'cause I hadn't been slacking this past 2 months break. I had activities practically everyday until I even fell sick a few times but I kept going anyway 'cause I really feel the satisfaction of that sacrifice. Erm, to think of it, I won't call it 'sacrifice' la... It was more of a 'fill-your-bloody-long-holiday-break-with-something-fruitful' kinda thingy.
Anyway, my Achilles Tendonitis acted up last week. For one whole week I had trouble moving around. Nope, no crutches or wheelchair but I was limping la. It was very painful but I insisted on not seeing the doctor. I had 2 painkiller pills left from my last visit to the doctor and so I only ate them when I really really needed to. Painkillers do help to send the pain away but did you know that painkillers also remain a long long time in your body, as in not the component that gets rid of the pain but the other components that make up the pill, all those chemicals and what not. Panadol is a one of the most easily obtained painkiller in the market and I'm sure most of you have received e-mails warning people to drop their intake of panadol. As for myself, I hadn't eaten panadol for about 2 years already. And if I could stand the pain of my tendonitis, I wouldn't take the painkillers either.
I'm now separated from my unseparable twin, Ad 'cause we're in different classes and so we only meet for lectures. Before this, we would spend hours together during break and after school studying and chatting and all la. But this sem's gonna be different. I just hope, not too different..
I'm in need of new clothes... Boring la same old clothes. I'm in second year!! Oh ya, speaking of that... I'm a junior in the school! Ok I know, it's like, "Ok so??" kinda thing but wei... You know, sometimes I walk around school (limp if I'm referring to last week lol) and I notice big groups of students together, I'd just go, "Freshies..." Hehe, I know I know, I was once a freshie myself and I did that too, going around in big groups but.. haha.
I just remembered something that Shamsyidah mentioned once in KPR class, "I'm like leading a dual lifestyle.." It's kinda true. For most of us, we have this 'school attitude' and 'home attitude' and they're normally different. As for myself, I have these as well as 'madrasah attitude', 'Fityan attitude', 'Titisan attitude' and many more lar. I'm trying to fuse them together to get the best but it's not easy. As people say, "you need to suit yourself to each and every situation" and definitely there are no two same situations no matter how similar they are. An example would be: You can never treat your parents like your friends no matter much you regard them as friends. Ok?
One issue I'm battling with is 'procrastination'. "Later lah" is a phrase that's overly used in my dictionary lol and no matter how much I don't want to procrastinate, I always do and sometimes I don't even realise it! Doesn't matter in what matters: schoolwork, CCA stuff, housekeeping etc it's like second nature to us to procrastinate. I really respect people who say they do things ASAP and they really do.. I'll try to be like them but I shall need constant self-reminder.
By the way, I got to know about something very useful recently and I think it's important that I share it with all of you. 'Cause it can determine how successful you become. I'm not sure if I've experienced it before without realising it but definitely, it sounds very logical. So hat is this so powerful thing I wanna share?? It's the Law of Attraction.. I am not the best person to relate to you about this so you may wanna try looking it up on the net. Or you can try to read/watch 'The Secret'. Law of Attraction simply states that you'll get what you want. Don't think of how you'll get it but think of how well you'd be when you get it. Even in Islam, they tell you to ask what you really want from Allah and insyaAllah you'll get it. It's just a matter of time. And if you really don't get the thing that you want after soooo long, then perhaps you're better off without it. BUT, if you really really believe you'd be so much better with it, then by all means, put all your heart and soul into it and believe...
Hmm... I really need to go off already so... yeah... It's nice to get to blog again but I don't think I'd be doing so again anytime soon! Lots of things to do/settle so toodles!!
